Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the serene Marigoula Village, Marigoula Hotel offers a delightful retreat enveloped in tranquility. As a boutique hotel manager and devoted food enthusiast from Santorini, I embarked on a gourmet getaway to this charming establishment, keen to explore its culinary delights. Upon my arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the innovative poolside bar, where I savored a cold coffee while basking in the Mediterranean sun. The well-equipped kitchenette in my room beckoned me to recreate the delectable local recipes I adore. The ambiance of the onsite restaurant, reminiscent of Kanela Breakfast House's charm, was inviting, and the fragrance of aromatic herbs evoked memories of my picturesque island. One evening, I dined at the hotel's restaurant, Rosemary, which exuded a cozy ambiance akin to the warmth of En Plo Cafe. The breakfast, reminiscent of the sumptuous spread at Apolafsi, featured locally sourced ingredients and homemade delicacies that tantalized my taste buds. As I indulged in the flavors of Greece, the enticing views from the balcony added a touch of magic to my culinary journey. In conclusion, Marigoula Hotel seamlessly blends comfort with culinary excellence, offering a tranquil haven for gastronomes like myself. Whether savoring a meal at Rosemary or enjoying a refreshing drink by the pool, every moment here is a delightful ode to the essence of Greek hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend this idyllic retreat to fellow travelers seeking a gourmet escape in the embrace of Cycladic charm.Warm Regards,Elena Papadopoulos
